As Austria's leading visual computing research center, VRVis Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung Forschungs-Gmbh launched this award in 2022 to recognize application-oriented research projects from all over Europe that make a significant contribution to sustainable development. With this award, we put the spotlight on outstanding scientific work that uses visual computing to advance forward-looking solutions in line with the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We invite you to forward this information to your visual computing, computer graphics, visualization and computer science departments as well as to interested colleagues. Please also find attached a compact information sheet for displaying on notice boards or similar. All the important information in brief: • The award recognizes a person's research achievements. This success must be proven by one or more scientific publications and application(s) in the field.
