Dear Norbert Ritter, Dear Hannes Federrath, Dear Daniel Krupka,
You may remember Informatics Europe has co-founded the Informatics for All coalition (https://www.informaticsforall.org/) to advocate for the inclusion of Informatics as a foundational discipline in schools across Europe.
The coalition has now produced a report discussing a Curriculum Framework for Informatics Education in school, aiming at providing high-level guidance for those developing national or regional curricula.
The report is preliminary and open for comments by a restricted set of stakeholders. As Informatics Europe we are contacting the various National Associations of Informatics to ask them to discuss within their national communities this preliminary report and provide feedback.
You find all the info in the attached letter by the Chair of the Steering Committee of the Informatics for All coalition, Wendy Hall. The interim report is also attached.
...
Best, Enrico
