Call for Papers: Special Issue on the `30th Anniversary of XCS'

Dear members, friends and enthusiasts of the OC initiative, We'd like to draw your attention to a brand new Call for Papers for a Special Issue on the `30th Anniversary of XCS' in the renowned Evolutionary Computation journal. The XCS classifier system (in the community also known as eXtended Classifier System) is an interpretable rule-based machine learning technique that - as an archetype for numerous extensions - has been central for several self-learning OC systems. On the occasion of XCS' 30th anniversary, a dedicated special issue has been initiated. The submission will be open until October 31, 2024.
